Kandace Buckner
Consultant and Trainer

Kandace Buckner is a passionate advocate for public education, whose journey began as an elementary school teacher and proprietor of an early childhood center in Blue Springs, MO. Driven by her desire to support and empower educators, Kandace transitioned from teaching to roles focused on teacher development. For the past seven years, she has served as an instructional coach, methods instructor, curriculum coordinator, and ending with Interim Director of Curriculum at The Educator Academy (EA), the City's premier provider of new certified teachers.

Committed to public service, Kandace currently serves on the Board of Directors for Kansas City Public Schools, where she continues to advocate for equitable and high-quality education for all students. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Masters in Education Leadership from Park University. Outside of her professional pursuits, Kandace finds joy in spending time with her two children, Reagan (12) and Micah (6).
