Valorie Montgomery
Senior Director of Operations and Marketing

Valorie Montgomery is our Senior Director of Operations and Marketing. She is an award-winning educator with more than 15 years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, data & technology management, marketing, fundraising, and event planning. Valorie has an eclectic background in K-12 education, serving as a principal, assessment coordinator, instructional coach, media specialist, and classroom teacher. She received her Educational Specialist Degree in School Leadership and Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Central Missouri, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri Kansas City.

Valorie’s passion is bringing educational equity to all of Missouri’s students and empowering Missouri educators with the tools and resources they need to achieve this. This passion is her guiding force. Organization, attention to detail, and creativity are her top skills.  Her tools to get the job done are technology and coffee.

Any spare time she gets, Valorie loves spending it with her husband David and two children, Remy and Nova. Together they enjoy camping, kayaking, gardening, cooking, and attending music festivals.
